Donald Fisher Student Society (DFSS)
chapter of the is the social organization of the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø Physician Assistant Studies Program (MCPA) in Clinton, ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø. All PA students accepted to the MCPA program are members of DFSS.
The purpose of DFSS is to educate members about the national and state PA organizations: AAPA and the ; provide academic guidance and mentorship for the incoming class; enhance communication between students and faculty/staff; participate with other PA student societies, medical societies, and health care providers; promote morale and camaraderie between members; and encourage philanthropic activities between members and the community.
This organization is named after who was hired as the first Executive Director of AAPA and APAP from 1973-1980 and opened the joint AAPA/APAP office in Washington, DC in 1974.
