³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø Bar President Jennifer Ingram Johnson Addresses MC Law Commencement

³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø Law School commencement ceremonies are set for May 14. ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø Bar President Jennifer Ingram Johnson will address the Class of 2021 at First Baptist Church Jackson.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, MC Law graduation activities will be a little different.
MC Law officials will follow all Centers for Disease Control health guidelines. The 10 a.m. ceremony that Friday won’t be open to the public. It is a ticketed event. Physical distancing will be followed. Masks are required for all visitors. “We will follow COVID-19 protocols,” says MC Law Dean Patricia Bennett.
The event will be live-streamed for family and friends to see.
Johnson is the owner of the law firm Ingram, PLLC in Hattiesburg. She earned her Juris doctorate from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville in Kentucky.
The ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍøan has concentrated her practice in such areas as catastrophic personal injuries, medical negligence, consumer fraud, business torts, and product liability.
As a ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø Bar leader, Johnson has served as chair of the Committees for Professional Responsibility, Ethics, and Professionalism. She’s the organization’s president for 2020-21.
Jennifer stays active in her community in South ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø as the co-chair of the Advisory Board to the Children’s Center for Communication and Development. She is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Southern ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø.
Johnson has taught seminars on Women and Politics and the Law. The attorney became the fifth woman to be elected president of the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø Bar. She was also inducted as a Fellow of the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø Bar.
Johnson is a 1993 graduate of the University of ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø with a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in music.
Jennifer and her husband, Wes Johnson, are the parents of two daughters, Alleigh Wilkinson, 19, of Hattiesburg, and Aubrie Ann Wilkinson, 22, of Chattanooga. Aubrie Ann is a special education paraprofessional with Signal Centers in Tennessee.
